Boat Container for Stationary

Assalaamu alaykum
everyone!

Here's a nice stationary container made into a boat.
I made it using card, paper and toilet roll tubes.

Materials you will need:
3 toilet roll tubes
2 different coloured acrylic paint
Silver paper
Blue paper
White paper
Empty cereal box
Scissors
Glue
Ruler
Pencil
Paintbrush
Stapler

Firstly, you need to make the shape of your boat. See the way I scored the lines
on the cereal box below. Once you have done that, cut it out carefully.

This is what it should look like.

Cut out two strips of white paper.

Flip the shape over and glue the strips to the ends like so.

Cut out the inside shape out of blue paper and glue it to the box like I
have shown  below.

Join both sides of the box exactly, then staple them together.
You can see the boat formed now.

Then paint the tubes of toilet rolls in the colours you prefer,
I used yellow and red and pasted silver paper around the third one.
Glue them together.

Glue and place the three tubes into the boat.
I cut out circles from the white paper for porthole windows.

Once made, start storing your stationary in it!!

Will make a nice handmade gift aswell!
